As previously reported, NYCO will offer concerts celebrating the music of Tony-winning West Side Story composer Leonard Bernstein (Nov. 6-7) and Academy Award and Tony-nominated Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz (April 21, 2011). Olivier Award-winning actress Elaine Paige and Tony Award winners Brian Stokes Mitchell, Victoria Clark, Christine Ebersole and Donna Murphy will perform in the New York City Opera's upcoming concert series at the Koch Theater.
Lucky to Be Me: The Music of Leonard Bernstein will boast a lineup including Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Ebersole (Grey Gardens), Murphy (Passion), Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific), Tony winner Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd), Darius de Haas (Children of Eden) and Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"). George Manahan will conduct.
