There’s a beauty in how a family honors a man at the end of his life. HARVEST is a film about the range of emotions one family goes through while they try to enjoy themselves, knowing loss is on the horizon. It’s a film about those moments when family dynamics start to shift, and how a family finds balance. It’s also a film about how we all come of age, in our own ways, both young and old.Three generations of a family come together one summer, around the eventual passing of the patriarch of the family, a WWII veteran. Gathered at the family home and in and around their beautiful shoreline town, family members find comfort and conflict in each other.
